Elena has played chess for a vast portion of her life, and she enjoys playing and directing tournaments.
Elena is a Senior Tournament Director and has lots of experience with playing and directing chess tournaments,from small events to scholastic state championships. She is currently pursuing a degree in economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Elena is very passionate about chess, especially making sure that every kid at BAC gets a unique experience learning and playing this wonderful game!
