Bay Area Chess offers inclusive, fun, and flexible lunch-time chess programs for students of all ages!
Who We Are:
- Bay Area Chess: The Largest Non-Profit provider of scholastic chess in the Bay Area
- Over 100+ afterschool enrichment programs and dozens of lunch programs


What We Offer:
- Weekly Lunch-Time Chess Program held during lunch
- Casual, open-play format: students rotate in freely and play with peers
- No roster or registration required — all students are welcome
- Provides a fun, casual, no pressure environment for students

How It Works:
- All materials provided by BAC — we set up and clean up all boards and pieces
- A qualified chess instructor supervises and supports casual learning
- No classroom-style lessons; instructor circulates to answer questions and guide newer players
- Flat fee of ~$105/week for 50-75 mins of lunch
- Flexible billing by semester or 10-week blocks
