Coach Stimit joined BayAreaChes's Coaching Staff in October 2022!
Coach Stimit started playing chess with his father when he was 10 years old. His daughter was his first student when he started teaching chess two years ago. His teaching philosophy is to encourage kids to explore new openings and devise novel strategies to gain a positional advantage. Stimit works as a software engineer who also enjoys running and tennis.
